The seven big books each contain a storyline to teach a letter sound to the whole class. At the end of each book there are activities for the children to do.

These books enable teachers to introduce all 42 letter sounds to the whole class. Each 16-page book has a teacher's introduction as well as exercises that the class can do. Each set of the seven books comes with a wipe clean plastic sheet that can be clipped on the page. This can be used by both teachers and children to write words and letters to complete the exercises.
