Environmental commitment

At Alibri, we believe that books and culture must go hand in hand with respect for the planet. Our ecological commitment is an essential part of our identity, and we work every day to minimize the environmental impact of our activity.

Among the actions we carry out, the following stand out:

• Plastic reduction: we avoid the use of single-use plastic packaging and wrapping. We use recyclable paper bags and reusable materials for packaging.
• Energy efficiency: we are in the process of adapting our facilities to reduce energy consumption, using low-consumption LED lighting systems and efficient climate control management.
• Recycling and reuse: we promote the recycling of paper, cardboard and other materials within the bookstore, and prioritize the reuse of logistical elements and displays.
• Collaboration with sustainable suppliers: we work with distributors and publishers who share sustainability values in both production and transport processes.
• Promotion of conscious reading: we give visibility to works that address environmental and sustainability topics, because we believe change also comes through knowledge and reflection.

We are aware that the path toward a more sustainable model is ongoing and shared. That’s why we will continue to implement improvements and listen to proposals to make our bookstore an increasingly environmentally friendly space.
