The following writers are presented in the textbook: P.M.Nevezhin, I.A.Bunin, V.V.Veresayev, A.S.Green, M.A.Bulgakov, Yu.K.Olesha, K.G.Paustovsky, Yu.M.Nagibin. The adapted texts are provided with exercises and lexical-grammar commentaries.The goal of the textbook is to develop the skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking. The textbook is to be used for the classroom work with a teacher (48-50 hours). But students may also use it for independent studies to prepare for passing the B2 level test.
