True to Life is now available in five levels, taking adult learners from complete beginner to upper-intermediate level.

Like other levels of the course, the new Starter features:

- tasks and content which will successfully engage the interest of adult learners

- the opportunity for learners to contribute their own knowledge, experience and creativity

- extensive opportunities for practising grammar and vocabulary through speaking

- Review and Development in every unit

- dual level listening

In addition Starter offers:

- 'In conversation' sections, introducing students to simple conversational English

- a serialised story in the Personal Study Workbook

The Starter level is designed for complete beginners and provides between 40 and 60 hours of class work. It can be used as preparation for True to Life Elementary or any other elementary course.
