The course offers students a well-structured, step-by-step guide to Spanish translation which will enhance and refine their language skills while introducing them to some of the key concepts and issues surrounding translation.

The first two chapters serve to contextualize the practical tasks that follow by introducing students to the nature of translation and the issues that they are likely to encounter.
