Ritual monuments are among the most remarkable and enduring aspects of prehistory, and form the focus of constant study and reinterpretation. The authors apply the latest methods of research to selected prehistoric sites and monuments in Ireland, Scotland, England and Europe in order to suggest new ways of approving one of the most evocative subjects in archaeology.
