Who stole the honey? Follow the bear who did in this action-packed, rhyming picture book from Louise Greig, author of The Night Box, and Laura Hughes, the award-winning illustrator behind There's a Pig Up My Nose!.
A rollicking rhyming story about two bears, a jar of honey and the consequences of not sharing. When one bear with a very rumbly tummy steals a jar of honey from the other, it sparks a hilarious trail of events that lead to an epic and calamitous conclusion.
Louise Greig's bouncy, rhyming text is reminiscent of Julia Donaldson and perfect for preschoolers who are learning all about how to share. With illustrations packed with energy and humour from Laura Hughes, this delightfully funny bedtime story is perfect for sharing and reading aloud with little ones.
Louise Greig is an award-winning poet and a children's picture book author with a unique, lyrical voice. Her debut picture book for Egmont, The Night Box, has been translated into 10 languages and has been nominated for the 2018 Kate Greenaway Medal and shortlisted for the Klaus Flugge Prize, the Association of Illustration Awards (AOI), the Waterstones Children's Book Prize and the Teach Primary Book Awards. Louise lives in Aberdeen and when not writing is a director of a dog rescue and re-homing organisation.
Laura Hughes studied illustration at Kingston University and is the illustrator and artist behind There's a Pig Up My Nose! which won the Oscar's Book Prize 2018. She has worked with several publishers including Bloomsbury, Harper Collins US and Faber & Faber. She lives in the UK with her cat.
